Why is Ejari Important?
Ejari means “my rent” in Arabic. This online registration system, initiated by the Dubai Land Department (DLD), legalises and manages rental agreements within the emirate. Ejari is essential for investors, aiming to get the benefits of Golden Visa Services.
Apart from a regulatory requirement—Ejari ensures the security and management of rental properties. Additionally, it offers a legally binding framework for rental agreements. If you want to register a lease through Ejari, it means that the contract is recognized by the government.
An important part of business, Ejari is essential for availing of many other key services in Dubai. The DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) and housing fee registration require Ejari. Besides, Ejari helps investors efficiently manage utility connections for their tenants and property.
In short, Ejari ensures legal protection and enhanced transparency in rental agreements. Besides, people seeking a Golden Visa need an Ejari or tenancy contract with residency information to enhance the applicant’s eligibility for the long-term residency visa.
ISO Certifications are crucial for businesses. A legal tenancy document works as a key document that demonstrates the company’s commitment to adhering to local regulations.
